And with so many pasta varieties available, there are versatile pasta recipes for every day of the week, suitable for all dietary requirements. When you choose your pasta for its high-quality ingredients you can be assured of consistent flavor, texture, and cooking results with every recipe.

Pasta has been part of a well-balanced diet for centuries. Thanks to their all-natural and non-GMO fine-ground durum semolina, and patented extrusion technology that ensures an al dente result every time, Medallion Foods offers seed-to-table traceability, making sure pasta remains an essential part of a healthy, wholesome diet.

The Nutritional Benefits Lie in The Quality of Your Pasta

Contrary to popular belief, pasta can be a wholesome addition to a balanced diet. While highly processed and lesser quality pastas on the market may not offer much nutritional benefit, pasta that is made from high-quality ingredients like 100% durum semolina contains important nutrients like dietary fiber, protein, and essential minerals such as iron and magnesium depending on the type of pasta you choose. A significant source of complex carbohydrates, pasta not only tastes amazing but can provide the body with long-lasting energy. When made without any additives or eggs, using non-GMO wheat, you can reap all the benefits of this vital source of energy without the risk of allergy, a safe staple ingredient for your whole family.

The Many Pasta Varieties for Versatile Pasta Recipes

Experimenting with different pasta varieties and shapes can transform your meals and elevate your culinary experience while contributing toward a balanced diet. Long cut pastas like fettucine are perfect for getting the most out of creamy sauces, while penne rigata and cavatappi holds its shape beautifully in a baked pasta dish. Shells are wonderful when stuffed with meats, vegetables, and cheeses while the small, straight tubes of salad macaroni add just the right amount of texture to deli salads.

For a nutritious vegetarian option, try a colorful pasta primavera using farfalle or bowties, loaded with fresh vegetables and a light olive oil-based sauce. If you prefer a protein-packed dish, consider a hearty chicken and broccoli pasta tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce. For those seeking a healthier alternative, opt for a Vital Wheat Gluten pasta and create a vibrant Mediterranean-style salad with cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, and a zesty lemon dressing.
